Girl Scouts offers girls ages five to 17 the world’s premier personal growth and leadership development experience. Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA), a chartered council with Girl Scouts of the USA, supports nearly 45,000 girls in partnership with more than 22,000 volunteers through council-sponsored girl programs and activities, local resources and support, and adult learning opportunities. This needed to be a website that would support such a large community, and do it looking good. This is what our team at Meteorsite came up with.

Girl Scouts of LA (Los Angeles) came back to Meteorsite with a problem, the original design they had chosen was too small. They did not like it, they wanted a re-design. Mary Broomfield of Girl Scouts of LA came up with the re-design, and I was emailed the new design. I then coded it up into a template for Matt to use.

This new website had a twist, it would be a social networking website like Burton Cummings’ website. For this I had to create new designs for the social networking pages of the site.
