Skills Employed

Girl Scouts offers girls ages five to 17 the world’s premier personal growth and leadership development experience. Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA), a chartered council with Girl Scouts of the USA, supports nearly 45,000 girls in partnership with more than 22,000 volunteers through council-sponsored girl programs and activities, local resources and support, and adult learning opportunities. This needed to be a website that would support such a large community, and do it looking good. This is what our team at Meteorsite came up with.

Girl Scouts of LA (Los Angeles) approached us to build a better website. Brad worked with them to create the design, and then the website was passed onto me. I was tasked with cutting up the PSD then converting it to a (X)HTML and CSS template for our Coldfusion master, Matt, to use.

I had to do a few PSD changes throughout the project, so this was the first time I was put in charge of more than just the CSS and (X)HTML; I was a part of the design team as well.
